Deborah S. Smith

I first met Peter at a senior seminar class at my boarding school in New York City. He presented the answers that various religions/philosophies give to life's basic questions. In his winsome manner and concise presentations, Christianity seemed to always win out. From there my journey took me to many UPSC/FOCUS house parties and to Christ. Peter had an amazing combination of gifts which he (along with other creative, genuine, caring and intelligent friends) used to create wonderful camps where the gospel was presented to secular prep school students. Who can forget the car rallies, the skits, the New Year's Eve celebrations to name a few of the activities?

After college, I worked for Peter and experienced his high energy, amazing administrative skills and good humor. His life was greatly enhanced by Sandra, his thoughtful, gentle and kind wife and three children.

Thank you, Peter and Sandra, for all you did for so many as you followed the Lord's calling in your lives and ministered to so many.
